Hyperthreading Technology: is there a way to make it available on Pentium-4 motherboards that don't have support for it at the chipset level?

Yes. Comparing chipset specification documents, we've discovered that there are only minor hardware differences between revisions (or "Steppings") of certain Intel P4 chipsets that don't have Hyperthreading ("HTT") support and those that do.
We designed the PL-iP4 to correct these differences, and in many cases (but not all), it does the trick!
