The SlotWonder™ is the product of over 3 years of research and experience in CPU powering technology, resulting in a highly integrated and simplified design that supersedes the patented and industry-standard PL-iP3/T™.
With a lower component-count and streamlined manufacturing economics, the overall cost of a 1.4 GHz “Tualatin” upgrade for Slot-1 systems is reduced by the introduction of the SlotWonder™, resulting in a better value for the consumer.
The SlotWonder™ is Powerleap's new design it doesn’t use independent powering like the PL-iP3/T™ because it has a very tightly tuned and optimized design for using the motherboard’s VRM to power the processor.
